Meet the Creators of
Kitty Kat Kingdom
The Kitty Kat Kingdom is a children's series which fictionally dramatizes the lives and antics of the rescue pets who cohabitate the home of the author and his wife who have adopted rescue pets their entire adult life and marriage. The series celebrates and advocates for rescue pets while providing fun tales of humor, acceptance, and kindness to all who enter the Kingdom. For ages 4-7.
Meet the Author
Eric Hodos graduated from Portland State University with a B.A. in English Literature. When not writing the chronicles of his cats, Eric spends his time with his cat whisperer wife and playing guitar in his rock band The Altered Egos with his adult daughter and their friends.
Meet the Illustrator
Simone Kurtz is an illustrator and designer based in New York.

Her creative journey started in her childhood kitchen, painting on a Fisher-Price easel while dinner was being made. Her work reflects a joyful love of storytelling, curiosity and play.
​
She also enjoys working a camera, creating wearable art, and teaching art and design to students of various ages and experience levels.
​
Simone studied Communications Design, illustration (BFA) at Pratt Institute.
